Fishing, Wildlife Habitat, & Environment

In the last session we saw the removal of the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency's Citizens Board. This move was deplorable. We need these types of boards to make sure that both our industries and the government are working towards protecting the environment while investing in business growth. We have many environmental issues in this state from the protection of our trees and forests to our lakes and streams, that need oversight.

As Minnesotans, we love our outdoors, whether we enjoy hunting, fishing, biking, walking, or exploring our parks, lakes, rivers and streams. If we don't have public oversight committees like the MCPA citizens board, we could lose what we treasure most - which means our children and grandchildren will not be able to experience the Minnesota we have all grown up to love and cherish.
